An evening with Opera |
| Danae performs with Open Door Opera to provide entertainment for the Association of History and Fine Art Photography |
You are cordially invited to an evening of musical magic and hilarity. It is Midsummer Eve in the Italian Alps and a large number of unexpected guests have arrived at the castle - how will the domestic staff cope, when they already have domestic troubles of their own? Will the Contessa stop meddling in other peoples' affairs long enough to sing her favourite folksong? Will her daughter's suitor make it up the giddy mountain slopes, or will romance be confined to the telephone? Can they all rely on an improbable happy ending? Open Door Opera will be taking up residence in the cosy dining room of the Metropole Hotel where you will be treated to an AHFAP feast, drinks and beautiful music: extracts from the most celebrated operas. |
