A reworking of the piece by living composer Kelvin Thomson, based on Sylvia Plath's poem "The Arrival of the Bee Box"

Originally designed for Soprano, then soprano and body percussionist, this piece uses many interesting vocal techniques, and passages of english sung backwards.

Danae Eleni performs a concert of repertoire with Tom Jackson, clarinettist, and Enrico Bertelli, speaking body percussionist.

This concert is part of the "sensorium" music festival which will become an annual festival in York championing contemporary music, subject to funding.

Danae sings soprano solos from Opera and Music Theatre, accompanying the Rugby Philharmonic Choir.

Featured songs will include Bernstein's "Glitter and be Gay".

Danae joins the Devizes Chamber Choir and Dr Pamela Kempton for their concert of Rossini's Petite Messes Sollenelle.

Danae will returning to her home town of Rugby to join Random Opera's semi-staged performance of Bizet's Carmen
